Intensive In-Home Services
The League of Therapists provides therapeutic interventions primarily in the home. Our highly skilled and creative intensive in-home service teams will collaborate with school, community, and other service providers to best meet the child's unique needs.
Intensive In-Home services are beneficial for children under 18 who are:
- At risk of being removed from the home or community
- Transitioning back into the community from out of home placement
- Exhibiting significant difficulties in daily life due to emotional, mental, or behavioral conditions
- Not helped by less intensive services such as outpatient counseling or group therapy
League of Therapists Intensive In-Home Services Include:
- Child and family assessment
- Individual support and counseling for the child
- Family, couples and individual counseling for family members as indicated to meet the child's needs
- Intensive parent support and training
- Case coordination
- Collaboration/support in working with other community systems such as school, court, and medical providers
- Mentoring (CSA Funding only) to provide recreational, social interventions, household help, tutoring, and other tasks as needed to support a child and family. Mentors are supervised by the Lead Counselor on the team.
We strive to stabilize and improve child and parent functioning so whenever possible; families may remain together, unite and/or maintain positive healthy connections.
